This is another one which needs either to be left alone or scrapped and re-written entirely. I have chosen to leave it as it is.
A medical student wrote this, and anyone who lives clinical medicine will see gaps and shocking naiveté in the narrative.
Cinderblock is an honest effort, however, and I think it does that medical student something of an injustice to try to patch up the narrative across the span of years.
